somehow presently this blog has become a way for me to pass time. and it has revived some enthu to write poetry. so here goes another maybe not so pointless poem:

UNTITLED

you roam around the whole world
seeking something you yourself don't really understand,
or you busy yourself in some task or the other
hoping to escape facing any of the real questions at hand.

you think that you are unhappy in life
and make all sorts of efforts for a glimpse of "true" happiness,
what you don't realize is that all these are just concepts
all that matters is what you are now and your contentness.

all you have to do is absolutely nothing at all
because whatever you do takes you away from yourself,
just be in this present moment for a while,
and one day you will surely discover your true self.

all the time you are comparing and judging others
not knowing that they are just reflections of your own image,
just accept others with all the love you can muster in your heart
and you will find that all beings are really on the same page.

know that all your moods and depressions arise only because
at that moment you are thinking about your own petty existence,
rise above your thoughts and reach into the expansive sky above
and these waves of mood swings will not trouble you hence.

why care about the meaning of life and its purpose
what have you gained from all that but for some false sense of security,
isn't the very presence of life around us a wonder of wonders
to see that all you have to do is open your eyes to its beauty.

so finally to say one sentence for a hundred words
remember that your very nature is conciousness, existence and bliss,
you don't have to be afraid of anything at all in this world
because you have always been walking with your hand in His.

so well said, and so true. but it is human nature to be always doing something, to always be chasing some dream...and therefore to never truly be happy and never truly understand onelself

it is human nature, but only human nature in our present state, there is always scope for improvement, and the whole idea would be to get to a point when we can be happy doing anything or nothing.
